Heat oxidation, corrosion, and erosion are common wear problems that occur in land based gas and steam turbines, jet engines and compressors. Constant attack of the base material by these wear mechanisms will lead to failure of the component. By using Thermal Sprayed coatings, the base material can be protected which will results in increased efficiency and reducing service and maintenance costs.
